Magnetic Resonance Angiography

Magnetic Resonance Angiography(MRA) is a specialized study of the blood vessels anywhere in the body, though only the blood vessels in the area within the dedicated coil will be studied. The images are reconstructed in a two or three dimensional format to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of blood vessel diseases. Many times a contrast agent will be administered during the procedure to enhance these images.
